Camila passed away with her family by her side on January 15, 2025, at the age of six, after bravely facing a prolonged medical battle. She was born in Alpine, Texas on October 7, 2018. Camila embraced her own unique journey, experiencing life in every place her medical path took her, and in every home she made along the way. Camilas enjoyed playing with her tablet, she knew how to play all kinds of games, she especially liked to play music, she would start swaying and twirling around. But her favorite was when her daddy picked her up to dance. She was one of a kind and always brought joy and smiles to everyone.
Camila is survived by her parents, JaKorey Richard and Karina Ramirez, by her younger sister Carley and soon to arrive baby sister; her grandparents Romelia Ramirez, Monique Richard, Robert Newman, and Melissa Wimbley, great-grandmother Raquel Ramirez and various aunts and uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Jesus Ramirez, and grandfather, Eric Stevenson. Though her time with us was far too short, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who love her. Her life was a blessing, and she will be deeply missed by everyone she touched.
