David E. George Jr.

David E. George Jr. age 48, of Van Horn passed away on January 15, 2024, in Van Horn, Texas. He was born on April 1, 1975, to David (Dave) E. George Sr. and Deborah (Debbie) A. Loretz in Phoenix, Arizona.

David attended Moon Valley High School and then joined the Navy from 1993 to 1997 and afterward settled in Seattle, Washington and worked at Domino’s Pizza, and various jobs. He then moved to Van Horn to spend time with his mom Debbie. This is where he and Catherine met and fell in love. He and Catherine Moral were married in 2018 and fathered Andrew Wayne George (born on Nov. 3, 2020), Athena Rose George (November. 3, 2022). He also had another son, Willow Rain George (September 11,2000) prior to his marriage to Catherine.

David was an extremely sociable person. He could talk to people for hours, and always ended up making new friends everywhere he went. And that includes the four-legged furry kind, because he loved dogs.

His other interests included the love for Dragons, and Marvel comics, precious gemstones, books, and movies that contained action, horror, and Sci-Fi. He especially loved the Star Wars franchises.

A Memorial service for David E. George Jr. will be held at Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn on Wednesday June 26, 2024, at 2:00 pm.
