Gertrudes "Tula" D. Vargas

Gertrudes “Tula” Vargas entered the gates of heaven on June 16, 2024. She was born on November 15, 1939, to Edwardo and Agustina De La O in San Antonio Del Bravo, Chih. Mexico.

Those left to Cherish her memory are her husband Nicolas Vargas, her sisters Juana Rocha, Socorro Jimenez and Beta Lujan. Tula was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.

Those receiving her with open arms are her parents, her brothers Jorge, Jose De La Luz and Francisco.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday 19, 2024 at 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. A funeral mass on Thursday the 20th at 11:00am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiated by Father Serjio Legarreta. The burial followed at the Van Horn Cemetery.

The pallbearers serving were Frankie De La O Jr., Vince De La O, Francisco De La O III, Austin De La O, Jerry Guerrero, Issac De La O, Shelby Arraz and Aubrey Arraz.

Funeral arrangements were in care of Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn, Texas.
