Van Horn

Heradio G. Luna went to his Heavenly Father and to be reunited with the love of his life, Aurelia Luna, on October 11th, 2020.

Mr. Luna, as he was known to all who knew him, was born to Castulo Luna and Antonina Luna on February 1, 1930 in Monahans, Texas.

Services for Mr. Luna will be held on Thursday, October 15th, 2020 at the Van Horn Cemetery Gazebo with Father Frank Hernandez serving as Funeral Celebrant with musical accompaniment by Rick Ruiz.

Mr. Luna was a man of God; he loved his wife and his family dearly.  He was a teacher for 25 years, he taught about God and life.  Daddy lived his life for this moment, and we know that he is reaping what he sowed.

You leave behind a legacy of more than just your children, grandchildren, great and even great grandchildren, you are leaving behind every student whose hearts and minds you touched.

Preceding Mr. Luna in death are his parents; his beloved wife Aurelia Luna and one son Roddy Luna.

Mr. Luna leaves behind his daughters Silvia Valdez, Julia Calderon, Viola Luna, and Linda McDonald; two sons David Luna and Castulo Luna; a legacy of 28 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren all whom he loved with all his heart.  Every time he saw them, they were greeted with a smile and a kiss.
