It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramona Tarango, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, on December 2, 2024.
Surrounded by her family and enveloped in love, she departed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and boundless love. Born on July 29, 1946, Ramona lived a life marked by compassion and devotion to her family. As a cherished wife to Salvador for many years, their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership. She was a proud and dedicated mother to Eduardo Tarango, Salvador Tarango, Marcella Tarango, David Tarango, Oscar Tarango, Graciela De La O, Irma Alvarez and Ruben Flores, instilling in them values of perseverance and generosity. As a grandmother, her laughter and stories brought warmth and joy to her grandchildren’s lives, and she cherished the unique bond she shared with each of them. To her nieces, nephews, and extended family, she was a guiding light and a source of unwavering support. Ramona will be remembered as a God-fearing woman who loved to sing among her brothers.
She leaves behind a family who will carry her memory in their hearts forever: her children, Eddie, Salvador Jr., Marcella, David, Oscar, Graciela, Irma and Ruben; her grandchildren, Melinda, Mark, Jacob, Adrian, Savannah, Louie Jr., Deandra, Edward, McKenna, Alfredo Jr., Aaron, Alejandro, Abigail, Kayla, Oscar Jr., Nathan, Jordan, David Jr., Roman, Salvador III, Anthony; many great grandchildren and brothers and sisters. She is reunited in peace with her husband Salvador, her beloved Mother, Father, and Brothers.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at The Seventh Day Adventist Church followed by a service on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 10:00 am. The burial will follow at the Van Horn Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving are Louie Rivera, Edward De La O, Anthony Tarango, Oscar Tarango Jr., Nathen Tarango, Adrian Tarango, Aaron Alvarez and Alfredo Alvarez. Her love, warmth, and wisdom will forever remain a part of those who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
