Adalberto Gonzalez Tarango

Adalberto Gonzalez Tarango, known to many as Bert or Pajaro, died Saturday November 19th 2022, in Juarez, Mexico. 

Bert was born in Van Horn, TX August 28th, 1971, to Elfida Tarango Gonzales and Adalberto Corrales Gonzalez. He spent most of his life in California and spent the last year of his life back in Van Horn, TX. He was hard working and always knew how to brighten a room with his smile and silliness. With Bert around you could never have a bad day. He always cared about everyone he came across and loved unconditionally. He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. 

He is survived by his mother Elfida T. Gonzales, father Adalberto C. Gonzalez, wife Sonia M. Gonzalez, 7 children: Christina Gonzalez, Christopher Gonzalez, Clarissa Gonzalez, Damian Gonzalez, Sabrina Gonzalez, Jasmine Gonzalez, Adalberto J. Gonzalez, and 6 grandchildren: Bella Gonzalez, Ethan Cordova, Elena Cordova, Miloh Gonzalez, Anthony Gonzalez, and Caiden Gonzalez, his brothers Javier Gonzalez and Jose Antonio Gonzalez, his sister Elaine Gonzalez Yanez, and his many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services for Adalberto will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiated by Father Frank Hernandez.  A viewing at 10 am, Rosary at 11 am and a mass at 12 pm, the burial will follow at the Van Horn Cemetery.

Pallbearers serving are Tony Gonzalez, Tito Gonzalez, Damian Gonzalez, Betito Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez, Ricky Yanez, Leo Zamora and Gilberto Miranda.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn, Texas.
