Jesus Licon Valdez

Jesus Licon Valdez, age 81 passed away in Van Horn, Texas on January 22, 2022.  He was born on December 25, 1940, in San Antonio, Chih.  Mexico to Francisco and Cristina Valdez. 

He was a resident of Van Horn.  Jesus was a business owner, He owned a restaurant in Ojinaga, Mexico and the Park Store in Van Horn.

Those left to cherish Jesus’s memories are his daughters: Sara Sunshine Valdez, Jessica Marie Metzger, Elgica Hernandez, Norma Gamboa, Guadalupe Valdez, and sons: Jesus Licon Valdez, Francisco Valdez Licon, Dalton Melendez and Francisco Valdez.

Jesus is preceded by his parents Francisco and Cristina Valdez.

A viewing will be held on Friday January 28, at Heritage Funeral Home in Van Horn starting at 9: 00 am followed by a graveside service at the Van Horn Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

Pallbearers serving are: Jesus Valdez Licon, Francisco Valdez, Dalton Melendez, Hernan Hernandez, Francisco Valdez Licon, and Birdie Valdez.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Van Horn, Texas.
