Maria T. Florez

Maria Isela Florez passed away on Friday February 5, 2021, she was born in Alpine TX but was a longtime resident of Van Horn Texas. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Van Horn Cemetery Gazebo with Cele Solis officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Van Horn Cemetery. 

Maria was a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She left this world suddenly at the age of 56.  

She is preceded in death by her parents Ruben and Enedina Flores Sr. and her son Jose Angel Gonzales.  

She leaves behind her husband Jose Gonzales and son Joey Gonzales a sister Alma Florez and brother Ruben Florez Jr and wife Ana Florez. Maria loved her nephews and niece like her own, the joy she had when she would see her great nephews and nieces were her joyous days. 

 She was well known in Van Horn and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
